About

Growing up, I lived in Kenya, Bangladesh, and Eswatini. A key tenet of good user experience — and life — is empathy: the ability to listen and understand people. Living abroad taught me how subjective "normal" is, that nothing can be assumed, and that the "right" way of doing things often just means "right for this context." I bring this sensitivity to culture and context into everything I do.

Outside of work, you’ll find me outdoors experimenting in our vegetable garden, working on native plant landscaping, reading, or spending time with friends and family.
